Designed to promote health and wellness through nutritional therapy and dietary training, In My Sisters Kitchen (IMSK) is a comprehensive program designed to promote health and wellness through healthy eating. IMSK will work with women and their families to help create access, opportunity and training to build healthy communities through individual and group instruction, social media and community gatherings. Partnering with many different types of group such as healthy eating advocacy groups, community garden associations, anti-hunger organizations as well governmental agencies whose mission to both end hunger and promote healthy eating, IMSK will use the latest in new media and documentary film making to craft messages and menus that are health oriented as well as delicious. A typical day of programming might consist of community food preparation classes, public health education events and local media programming all designed to educate, inform and empower toward healthier eating.
